In Hinduism, some rules have been given for cutting hair, nails, beard, hair-nails should not be cut on some special days.
In such a situation, people often visit Premanand Maharaj of Vrindavan and talk to him on many things. Someone asked Maharaj Ji on which day hair, nails and beard should be cut?
Premanand Maharaj says, "Kshaur Karma means shaving hair or shaving beard or any such work should be done only two days a week. '
"If a person does this work on any given day, he or she may suffer in life. '
"Nowadays people eat chicken three times a day, so their intellect remains corrupt. '
Premanand Maharaj further explains on which day one should shave and on which day.
Premanand Maharaj says, "Sunday is the day of Lord Surya, so shaving on this day leads to loss of wealth and intelligence. '
"A person who worships Shiva should not shave on Monday. '
"Also, do not do things like cutting hair or beard on Tuesdays and Saturdays, otherwise life ends. '
"But, cutting hair and beard on Wednesdaybrings happiness and prosperity in life. '
"One should also avoid shaving on Thursdays. This day is the day of the Guru, so getting a haircut on this day leads to loss of wealth, respect and devotion. '
'But, shaving should be done on Friday, by doing this you get profit and fame in life. '
