Ola has launched a PowerPod to recharge the batteries of its scooters.
By converting the battery of these scooters into a home inverter, you can easily manage household tasks.
The scooter features a 1.5kWh battery that can be recharged with the Ola PowerPod. Moreover, its inverter provides a power backup of up to 500 watts for a period of 3 hours.
The Ola PowerPod is capable of powering electronic devices like LED bulbs, ceiling fans, televisions, mobile chargers, and Wi-Fi routers in the home.
Ola asserts that its PowerPod is capable of storing solar energy, which could be highly beneficial for rural areas.
The Ola PowerPod can also charge the batteries of the Ola Ace Z or Ola Gig.
By using two batteries, one can power the scooter while the other can keep the inverter running at home.
The PowerPod is priced at Rs 9,999 and must be purchased separately from the scooter.
