The Yogi Adityanath administration in Uttar Pradesh has initiated a major development project aimed at creating a remarkable city by merging 226 villages in the state.

As per the TOI report, he has sanctioned the New Noida Master Plan 2041, which includes the establishment of a new city for Korean and Japanese industries.
This proposal involves merging 226 villages near Noida to form a new city, with around 20,911.29 hectares of land from these villages being acquired to create New Noida.
The UP government's plan involves a pledge to create new hospitals, airports, industrial zones, and Olympic parks.
The Uttar Pradesh administration has revealed that the New Noida Master Plan 2041 will be implemented in four separate stages.
The initial stage of New Noida's construction has commenced, with the Noida Authority set to develop 3165 hectares of land by 2027.
Before starting the phase one project, Noida Authority officials held talks with the leaders of 10 villages and local residents to obtain the land.
During the meeting, the Pradhan and the local residents agreed to acquire the land, and subsequently, the work has commenced in Noida.
The CEO of Noida Authority has instructed the officials to initiate the land acquisition process without delay.
