The number of customers preferring electric vehicles in the Indian market is increasing. Now people are preferring electric vehicles more than other vehicles. Mahindra recently took the market by storm with the launch of the BE 6 and XEV 9E EV cars. Both these cars were introduced in the market with a battery option of 59KWH and 79KWH. Despite Mahindra launching a luxury vehicle, Tata continues to hold a strong position in the electric car market.. Tata is gearing up to launch the Harrier EV soon.. TATA Mobility is anticipated to be presented at the Global Expo on January 17.
TATA Harrier EV is Equipped with Robust Battery
Tata has launched several cars in the electric vehicle segment, but the Tata Harrier EV is expected to feature the largest battery. It is believed that the Harrier EV will come with a 75kWh battery, providing a range of approximately 500km on a single charge. Following its launch, the Harrier EV could pose strong competition to Mahindra's BE 6 and XEV 9E EV models.
Price of the Harrier EV
The Harrier EV may feature all-wheel drive, LED DRLs, 19-inch alloy wheels, terrain response mode, and crash test with damper control, achieving a 5-star rating. The ex-showroom price for the Harrier EV could be approximately 20 lakh. The BE6 starts at Rs 18 lakh (ex-showroom) and the XEV 9E EV begins at Rs 23 lakh (ex-showroom).
