Reliance Jio is the top telecom provider in the country, boasting more than 490 million users nationwide. There is significant news for Jio SIM users.
Approximately five months ago, Jio dealt a major blow by increasing the prices of its recharge plans. The company has disappointed its customers once more by significantly modifying two of its recharge plans.
Reliance Jio, with a user base exceeding 490 million, has discreetly altered the validity period for two of its recharges. Specifically, the Rs 19 and Rs 29 recharges have changed their validity.
The company had earlier surprised customers by increasing the prices of its recharge plans, and it has now made substantial alterations to two of its recharge plans again.
The Rs 19 plan is now included in the data voucher options. Previously, Jio's validity used to align with the base plan. For instance, if you opted for an 84-day plan, the Rs 19 data plan would also be valid for 84 days.
Previously, the Rs 19 recharge lasted for 84 days. However, modifications have now been implemented. The validity of the Rs 19 data voucher has been reduced to just 1 day. However, users will still get 1GB of data with the Rs 19 recharge as before.
Similar to the Rs 19 recharge, Jio provides a Rs 29 recharge plan as well. This plan is also a data voucher, offering the user 2GB of data.
The duration of this recharge has been shortened to two days. If you do not use the data within this timeframe, it will automatically expire.
