He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah for their guidance and support in the successful implementation of the UCC. He stated that the Prime Minister's leadership and vision led to the inclusion of the UCC implementation in the 2022 Assembly Election Manifesto, contingent on receiving the mandate. CM Dhami mentioned that following the electoral victory, efforts to implement the UCC commenced immediately. On May 27, 2022, a committee was formed under the leadership of Justice Ranjana Desai, and the UCC Bill was drafted.
