Millions of followers from across the nation and overseas attended the Mahakumbh held in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. Following the Maha Kumbh, a spectacular Pushkar Kumbh fair was organized in Uttarakhand. Uttarakhand's Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, declared that the Pushkar Kumbh commenced in Uttarakhand after 12 years in Mana, India's first village near Badrinath Dham.
This event, held at the sacred junction of the Alaknanda and Saraswati rivers, exemplifies the divine essence of Sanatan traditions. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Dhami conveyed his best wishes to the pilgrims visiting Devbhoomi for Pushkar Kumbh, stating that on this auspicious occasion, the state government warmly welcomes and congratulates all the devotees arriving for Pushkar Kumbh.
Earlier on May 12, CM Dhami attended the Shri Peeth Sthapana Mahotsav program of Shri Kalyanika Himalaya Devasthanam Trust at Dol Ashram in Lamgada, Almora. During this time, he worshiped small girls, anointed mother Rajeshwari and wished for the happiness and prosperity of the country and the state. During this, he said that he always feels divine energy when he comes to Dol Ashram. Baba Kalyandas Ji Maharaj has established the Shri Yantra of this ashram, which will become a center of reverence for the whole world and India in the future. In this ashram, people from all over the world will come to recognize peace, spirituality and culture.
Chief Minister Dhami mentioned that the state administration is enhancing infrastructure at all temples via the Manaskhand Temple Mala Mission to boost spiritual tourism. He praised Dol Ashram for its excellent efforts in advancing religious tourism and acquainting young people with Indian culture. CM Dhami expressed that being born in a culturally rich state like Uttarakhand, with its numerous temples, is a unique privilege. He described the ashram as a vibrant representation of our ancient civilization and culture, serving as a magnificent and sacred hub for meditation and spirituality.
