Freight train collision injures two Railway officials in Uttar Pradesh

Guard coach and engine derailed after collision

Two Indian Railway officials were injured when freight train collided with another stationary goods train near Pambhipur in Uttar Pradesh's Fatehpur district. It is being told that both have minor injuries. The guard coach and the engine were derailed after the collision of the two freight trains. The movement of trains on the upline was disrupted due to the accident.

First aid done at the Community Health Center

Relief and rescue operations are underway to clear the affected section and restore normal traffic, officials said. Subhash Dubey, a doctor at the Community Health Centre (CSC), said the two railway officials were brought here in an injured condition. He came to our community health centre at 7 am and had no major injuries, so we administered first aid.

Work in progress for normal operations

The injured have been identified as Anuj Raj (28) and Shiv Shankar Yadav (35). Both were given first aid at the community health centre and later discharged. Railway authorities are assessing the damage and work is on to restore normal operations.
