The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has announced the results of the 70th preliminary examination and is gearing up for the main examination. In the meantime, the students' protest calling for the cancellation of the preliminary examination continues.
On Thursday, BPSC candidates took to the streets of Patna, calling for the preliminary examination to be canceled and rescheduled. A significant crowd of aspirants assembled at the Gardanibagh protest site in Patna and encircled the BPSC office.
The police attempted to disperse the group of students at the Income Tax intersection. The students initially sat and protested there for a while, but eventually left the area. They were calling for a re-examination for all students while holding the tricolour.
During this time, the candidates stated that they are demanding a re-examination and it should be conducted. They further stated that the case is set to be heard in the Patna High Court on Friday, and the students are hopeful that the court's decision will be favorable to them.

The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) announced the results of the BPSC exam on January 23. Over 21,000 candidates passed the 70th BPSC preliminary exam.
Please be informed that the 70th preliminary examination for civil post recruitment by the BPSC took place on December 13 last year. Alleging irregularities in the exam, candidates have been protesting in Patna Gardanibagh for the past one and a half months.
