The cold wave continues in Rajasthan, with frigid winds blowing through multiple cities, including Jaipur.This has made it difficult for residents to go outdoors.
The Meteorological Department has warned several districts because of the current cold wave affecting the state. A cold wave warning has been announced for eight districts in Rajasthan, including Hanumangarh, Churu, Sikar, Bharatpur, Alwar, Nagaur, Jhunjhunu, and Dausa. The temperatures in these regions have fallen below 10 degrees Celsius.
Due to the intensifying cold wave in Rajasthan, Sirohi District Collector Alpa Chaudhary has mandated the shutdown of schools in 19 districts starting January 7.
All these districts have announced a holiday for students up to class 8 until January 11. Due to the increasing cold wave in Rajasthan's districts, the holiday directive might be extended.
