Three important appointments have been made in the Haryana Chief Minister's Office. These appointments were long overdue. In Haryana, new appointments have been made for the positions of Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Political Secretary, and Media Secretary.These appointments were flagged off by CM Nayab Singh Saini.
Virendra Singh Badkhalsa has been designated as the Officer on Special Duty (OSD) to the Chief Minister, making him one of the three major appointments. Simultaneously, Tarun Bhandari, who resides in Panchkula, has been appointed as the political secretary. Pravin Atre, who previously served as the media secretary to former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar, has been reappointed to the same position.
Former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar's influence
The impact of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was evident in all three recent appointments in the Haryana Chief Minister's Office. Tarun Bhandari, who has been named political secretary to CM Nayab Saini, also served as political secretary in the CMO during Khattar's tenure.
Simultaneously, Pravin Atre has maintained a close relationship with the former Chief Minister and served as the Media Secretary during his term. Furthermore, OSD Virendra Singh Badkhalsa was also a member of the Chief Minister's Office during the previous CM's term.
