Former Indian captain MS Dhoni's hookah controversy is not coming to an end anytime soon. Firstly, it was Irfan Pathan whose old interview went viral, where he was seen talking about Dhoni consuming hookah, and now the former Indian cricketer Manoj Tiwary has added fuel to the topic. Tiwary made a bold statement stating that some players in the team, especially the ones who were close to Dhoni, joined him in hookah sessions. He also stated that he has seen activities from close, hinting that some did buttering to the captain to get closer to him.

In a recent interview he said,

"We've seen it from close quarters as well. There were sessions where hookah was taken, and there were some players who were the close ones. Some players were clever enough to butter up the captain for help.

Further, Tiwary said that although the captain's door was open for everyone, only players closer to him joined him in the hookah sessions.

He said,

"It wasn't compulsory for anyone to be there. Only the players who knew that the room was open for hookah went there."

"Players who were smart enough or were in closer quarters with the captain at that point of time were the ones who knew that the room was open for everyone."

If we take a look at Manoj Tiwary's cricketing career, then he had played a total of 12 ODIs and three T20Is at the time when MS Dhoni was the captain. Almost the same story was shared by Irfan Pathan around five years back, which gained more headlines this year.
