The second Test between India and England is being played at Birmingham, where the Indian team did not have any record. In addition to that, senior Indian batter Cheteshwar Pujara has made it easy for the opposition batters by telling them a strategy for how in-form batter Yashasvi Jaiswal can be dismissed in the early stage of an innings.

The 23-year-old had a good start in the England tour, smashing a century in the first test, and in the second test he scored 87 runs off 107 balls, with 13 boundaries, along with captain Shubman Gill, who remained unbeaten at the end of the day.

Talking about Jaiswal's style of dismissal, Pujara said that bowlers who stick to their consistent good length outside off stump and remain calm are more likely to get a left-hander's wicket.

He said,

"You've got to bowl the right length, around off-stump, on a good length. Keep doing that and wait for him to make a mistake."

The all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja started a good partnership with the skipper, smashing 44 runs off 67 balls, including five boundaries, and on the other hand, the captain smashed 114 runs off 216 balls with 12 boundaries; the duo made a crucial partnership of 99 runs.

Further, Pujara added,

"Early on, it seemed like he was trying too hard to play shots, but once he settled, the kind of strokes he played were outstanding. Once he gets through that initial half-hour, he's in complete control. He doesn't miss scoring opportunities, and that makes it very difficult for a bowling team."

"If you pitch it up, he drives well. If it's short outside off-stump, he cuts well. If you try bumpers, he pulls confidently. The margin of error for bowlers is incredibly small against him."
