Indian young sensation Vaibhav Suryavanshi carried his impressive form from IPL 2025 to the U-19 stage, where he smashed 48 runs off 19 balls to help his team win over the England U-19 side by 6 wickets in the first of five Youth ODIs at Hove. The Bihar-based cricketer once again made it to the headlines after IPL 2025 for his tremendous debut for India in U19 under Ayush Mhatre’s captaincy, where he smashed 71 runs in 7.3 overs, India chasing the target of 175 runs with 26 overs left. This was the team’s second win in the tour, having crushed Young Lions Invitational XI at Loughborough by 231 runs last week.
Now, the young Indian side will be looking to take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series when they take on England in the second Youth ODI match on Monday. As India won their last game, India are unlikely to make any changes in their playing XI.
