Parth Jindal's Email to BCCI
Parth Jindal has clearly stated in an email to the BCCI,
"Heavy rain is forecast in Mumbai and there is a strong possibility of the match being cancelled."
We have known for 6 days that it will rain on the 21st. In such a situation, it is requested that this match be shifted to some other place, as earlier the match between RCB and Hyderabad has been shifted from Bengaluru. The Indian Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for Mumbai for the next four days. During practice on Tuesday, rain knocked and the practice session of Delhi Capitals was interrupted. The rain started around 8 pm and the preparation of the players was also affected.
What happens if the match is cancelled?
If this match is canceled due to rain, then both teams will get one point each. This will give Mumbai Indians 15 points and Delhi Capitals 14 points. Then only after the final match will it be decided which team will reach the final four. At the moment, Mumbai Indians are fourth with 14 points and Delhi are fifth with 13 points.
