Bhuvneshwar Kumar praised RCB captain Rajat Patidar for his calm demeanor despite match results. Patidar has led RCB to four wins in six games, all away from home. Kumar highlighted Patidar's ability to handle situations well, especially in T20 format. RCB faces Punjab Kings next, with preparations remaining consistent and Chinnaswamy's pitch now favoring batsmen.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar has all praise for RCB's new skipper Rajat Patidar for maintaining a calm and composed nature despite what the result of the game is at the end. Patidar is leading one of the largest franchises of the tournament with a great effort, which is almost seen in the match.

The 31-year-old was retained by RCB and later on was announced as the captain of the ongoing season. Till now he has led the team to four wins in six games, in which all of them came away from home, and the loss came in their home at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Ahead of RCB's next clash, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, talking about Patidar, said that he's been handling situations very well no matter what the result is, and this is one of the things needed in this format.

He said,

"He's been very good. The best thing is that he's been calm. That's what he needed, especially in this format. Because when you lose a match, the easy thing is to get panicked. And that's what he has (not) done. We lost two matches, but he's been handling everything very well. With the bowling changes and everything, he's been superb."

When asked about preparations for the next game against Punjab Kings, he responded by saying that there's nothing different; the approach will remain the same. He said,

Bhuvneshwar Kumar
"Our preparation is usual; nothing different. What we do for any opposition on any ground, it is going to be the same."

Further, talking about Chinnaswamy, he said that the ground is not the same as it used to be; now it is more a batting ground.

"We know the Chinnaswamy is known for batting, but if you look at the wicket, it is not the same as what it used to be. I don't know the reason, but yes, whether we bowl or bat first, we'll look at the first few overs and then see how the wicket plays, and then we will decide how to approach things accordingly."

RCB will be locking horns with Punjab Kings on April 18, Friday, at the Chinnaswamy stadium. Both teams will be meeting each other after a win in their last respective matches. Now, it will be interesting to see what changes the winning team will bring to the points table
