Actor Vivek Oberoi recalled the thrilling moment of India's Champions Trophy triumph in Dubai on March 9 and said that when people were singing "Vande Mataram" in their full voice, the echo of that sound was truly thrilling.
Oberoi and spinner Yuzvendra Chahal were seen enjoying the ICC Champions Trophy final between India and New Zealand at the Dubai International Stadium.
Oberoi told IANS: "I love cricket; I think cricket is a huge integrator. We all watch India matches and chant slogans for India together. After India's victory, at the stadium in Dubai, people sang "Vande Mataram" in their full voice and the thrill of its echo was something else. ''
The 48-year-old actor is an avid cricket fan. He often attends major cricket events to show his support for Team India. He was also present during the group stage match between India and Pakistan, where he met former Indian cricketer Venkatesh Prasad.
Oberoi had also shared a picture from the venue in which he was seen posing with the former cricketer, and recalled a memorable performance by Venkatesh Prasad.
