Josh Inglis' Century Powers Australia to Thrilling Win Over England

Australia's wicketkeeper-batsman Josh Inglis overshadowed Ben Duckett's century by scoring a brilliant ODI Hundred. Australia defeated England by five wickets in a Group B match of the 2025 Champions Trophy at the Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday, chasing a target of 352 runs in 47.3 overs.

Thanks to Duckett's brilliant 165 runs, England scored 351 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in 50 overs. It was looking difficult for Australia to chase down 352 runs. But Australia accomplished this goal and achieved a spectacular victory in the tournament.

Australia's wicketkeeper-batsman Josh Inglis scored an unbeaten 120 off 86 balls with the help of eight fours and six sixes to give the team victory.

Matthew Short (63), Alex Carey (69) and Glenn Maxwell (32 not out) played important innings while achieving a mountain-like target of 352 runs. Australia won the match with 15 balls to spare, proving once again that they can never be taken lightly in ICC tournaments.

The target for Australia, chasing the target, became difficult when the first blow came in the form of Travis Head on the score of 21 runs. After this, Steve Smith was also dismissed cheaply. Carey played a brilliant innings of 69 runs.

Glenn Maxwell scored a stormy 32 runs in 15 balls. Which included 4 fours and two sixes.
