The first match of the ODI between India and England is being played at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium on February 6, Thursday. England won the toss and opted to bat first in the first ODI. With the latest updates coming up, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Harshit Rana are all set to make their debut in the ODI cricket while Virat Kohli will be missing the first match due to some knee issues.

Rohit Sharma, after the toss, informed about the unavailability of Virat Kohli and said that,

"Unfortunately, Virat Kohli isn't playing. He had a knee problem last night."

In the recently concluded T20I series against England, India won the series 4-1 with their incredible performance. They will be looking forward to applying the same strategy in the ODI and winning the series. The ODI against England will prove to be the best practice session for the team. It will be India's first ODI series at home after the loss of the 2023 ODI World Cup.
