Adil Rashid returns to top rankings

Adil Rashid Regains top spot in ICC Rankings

Rashid has once again captured the number 1 ranking after bowling brilliantly against India. In the third T20 match played in Rajkot, he took 1 wicket by giving away just 15 runs in 4 overs, thanks to which England defeated India by 26 runs and returned to the series. Despite this win, India still leads the five-match series 2-1.

Varun Chakravarthy's historic jump

In this match, India's star spinner Varun Chakravarthy also made a splash and took five wickets. The benefit of his performance was also seen in the ICC rankings, where he made a long jump of 25 places to make it to the top 5.

Apart from this, England fast bowler Jofra Archer is also in excellent form. He also jumped 13 places to sixth place with a tremendous jump.

Axar Patel

Indian all-rounder Axar Patel has also improved his bowling rankings. He has moved up five places to 11th position. His consistent performance has benefited India a lot in this series.

There have been some major changes in the ICC T20I rankings for bowlers as well as batsmen.

Australia's Travis Head still remains the number 1 batsman, but India's youngster Tilak Varma has climbed one place to second place. At the same time, in the rankings of all-rounders, Hardik Pandya has achieved the number 1 position with a big bang.

However, despite the defeat in the third T20I, India's players have made a spectacular improvement in the ICC rankings, which shows that the team's performance is constantly improving.
