Now, nearly a month after the baby’s birth, Ritika posted a story on Instagram and revealed the son’s name in a sweet, endearing way. India is set to play the second test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Adelaide Oval. The game will begin on December 6, and it will be a pink-ball day-night match. Despite missing the first Test match in Perth due to paternity leave, Rohit has returned to the team and started training again. With notable contributions from Virat Kohli and Yashasvi Jaiswal, Jasprit Bumrah led the team to a commanding 295-run victory in Perth while Rohit was out. KL Rahul may go to the middle order. KL showed an incredible batting display in Perth with 77 runs off 176 balls in the second innings.
It remains to be seen whether KL will remain in the opening for the Adelaide test or move to the middle order. Currently, the Indian team is playing a practice test in Canberra against Australia. The interesting part about the match is that Australia’s playing XI is selected by their Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. The first day of the match was called off due to rain. However, on the second day, the match was set for 50 overs. While bowling first, India bowled out Australia on just 240 runs. It remains to be seen how the visitors perform in batting now.
