Navratri Vrat Rules: Sharadiya Navratri holds significant importance in Hinduism, where the nine manifestations of Goddess Durga are venerated. This festival is celebrated with much enthusiasm across India annually. As per the Vedic calendar, Sharadiya Navratri commences each year on the Pratipada of the Shukla Paksha in the month of Ashwin. This year, it begins on September 22nd. Throughout these nine days, devotees fast and offer prayers to Goddess Durga seeking joy and tranquility. The entire period of Sharadiya Navratri involves fasting and performing rituals in honor of Goddess Durga.

Moreover, Ghatasthapana is conducted on the initial day of Sharadiya Navratri, which is believed to bring joy and wealth to the household.
