On the foundation day of Kainchi Dham temple, special pujas and bhandara will be held on June 15. On this occasion, prasad of 5 lakh malpus will be distributed. Because of the crowd, the administration has prepared a foolproof plan for traffic. The shuttle service will try to avoid jams on the route from Haldwani to Bhimtal and Bhawali.

A large number of devotees from all over the country will arrive at the Kainchi Dham temple in Nainital, Uttarakhand on the foundation day on June 15. A fair is also held at Kainchi Dham before the foundation day. Devotees start arriving three days before the fair begins. The same thing happened last time. Given the crowd, the administration has already started making a foolproof plan for traffic. This time 5 lakh malpuas will be made on the foundation day. The prasad of this malpus will be distributed among the devotees. On June 15, special pujas, bhandaras and kirtans will be held on the foundation day of the temple.

Shuttle service will start

On the basis of past experiences, it is believed that due to congestion, there may be a jam on the road from Haldwani to Bhimtal and Bhawali. In such a situation, it has been decided that roadways and Kemu buses will be used as shuttle services to avoid jams. The advantage of this will be that the number of small vehicles on the road will be limited. In this regard, a meeting was also held in the RIO office regarding traffic arrangements. Roadways officials, people from Kainchi Dham Management Committee and taxi union people were also present in this meeting.

Who was Neem Karoli Baba?

Neem Karoli Baba was a famous Indian saint and Hindu guru of the 20th century. They became popular because of their divine powers. His real name was Laxmi Narayan Sharma and he was born around 1900 in Akbarpur village of Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh. He was a great devotee of Hanuman ji. According to beliefs, Neem Karoli Baba is said to be the incarnation of Hanuman ji in Kali Yuga.

Ashram was established in 1964

At the age of 11, his parents got him married. After this, he left home to become a monk. Later, at the behest of his father, he returned to family life and had two sons and a daughter. In 1958 he again left home and embraced the life of a monk. Neem Karoli Baba established the Kainchi Dham Ashram near Nainital in Uttarakhand in 1964, which is still a major pilgrimage site for his devotees. Every year on June 15, a fair is held in Kainchi Dham on Foundation Day, which attracts millions of devotees from all over the country and abroad. The ashram has temples of Lord Hanuman, Lord Rama, Shiva and Durga.
