Cases Found All Over India

New cases reported in Gurugram
A 31-year-old woman who came back from Mumbai has been diagnosed with an infection in Gurugram. The variant was detected in a 62-year-old man. Neither of the patients had traveled anywhere. Both are under observation in isolation. Additionally, a security guard in Faridabad has also tested positive for Covid.
Gujarat reports 15 new cases
Gujarat has identified 15 new Covid cases of the Omicron variant, with thirteen in Ahmedabad and one in Rajkot. The Gujarat Health Department attributes these cases in India to the rising numbers in countries such as Singapore, Thailand, and China. However, all patients are in stable condition. Since January, Maharashtra has recorded 132 cases, with 126 of them in Mumbai.
Active cases increased in Singapore
In Singapore, the number of coronavirus cases has risen to approximately 14,200 within a week, with daily increases ranging from 100 to 133 cases. The 'LF.7' and 'NB.1.8' strains of the virus are spreading in the region. Meanwhile, in China, the number of coronavirus cases has doubled compared to the previous week. According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in China, the current figures have exceeded those recorded last summer.
