The damage caused by Pakistan's shelling has wreaked havoc in the border areas, leaving people struggling for homes and livelihood.

Amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan, the Indian Army remains vigilant. Meanwhile, an Indian Army bomb disposal unit has successfully defused a live Pakistani shell near a border village in Jammu and Kashmir.

To guarantee the safety of residents, the live shell was placed on the roadside and detonated. Mohammad Mashook, a local resident, praised the army for their excellent work in neutralizing the live shells fired by Pakistan. The live bomb shell located in Dara Baghyal posed a risk to everyone living in the area, but this threat has now been eliminated.

The residents of the border districts in Jammu and Kashmir have faced significant losses due to severe shelling by Pakistan amidst recent hostilities. These local communities were the initial targets during the recent India-Pakistan conflict, which has now paused following an agreement to reduce tensions between the nations. However, the shelling from Pakistan has caused substantial disruption to the lives of those in villages close to the border, resulting in the destruction of their homes.

Mohammad, a senior resident from Rajouri village, stated that his home was entirely destroyed by shelling. He appealed to the government for tents and other assistance for his family, as they are left without a place to stay. People living in border areas like Nowshera have suffered substantial damage to their livestock, properties, and mainly their sources of income.
