The Chief Minister also highlighted that the state government would not delay in taking action against such cases and directed that if there are any other such cases in the state, the health department should take strict action against them.

An FIR (First Information Report) has been registered against a person who posed as a doctor of Mission Hospital in Damoh district. He is accused of performing surgeries and allegedly killing at least seven patients. An FIR has been registered against the man at the Kotwali police station in the district on charges of cheating and submitting fake documents to get appointment at the Mission Hospital, an official said.
City Superintendent of Police (CSP, Damoh) Abhishek Tiwari said, "An FIR has been registered at Kotwali police station against the accused, known as Dr N John Chem of Mission Hospital, on charges of cheating and producing fake documents." We have received a report from the CMHO of the Health Department that the accused has allegedly performed fake angiography and angioplasty surgeries. The doctor's medical documents were found to be suspicious, which were examined by the team of doctors and after that, an FIR was registered against him on suspicion. "
Damoh City Superintendent of Police said that the doctor was practicing in Madhya Pradesh without registration, as well as his Andhra Pradesh registration was not visible on the website, as well as other things have come to light, due to which his medical practice looks suspicious. When asked about the alleged deaths, CSP Tiwari said that no such fact has come out so far, if any such fact comes out, it will be included in the investigation.
