The Maha Kumbh 2025 is experiencing a surge of devotion, with approximately 400 million devotees participating in the sacred ritual of taking a holy dip at the Triveni Sangam, where the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers meet in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The Maha Kumbh started on January 13, 2025, and will last until February 26.
The Maha Kumbh is expected to set new records for attendance and participation of devotees. Authorities state that nearly 400 million worshippers have participated in a sacred bath at the Triveni Sangam during the event up to this point.
Maha Kumbh 2025 has drawn believers from across the globe, with numerous devotees from both within the country and overseas participating in the sacred ritual at Triveni Ghat. Worshippers from Pakistan also participated in the sacred bath at the Mahakumbh and thanked the Indian government.
Recently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi took a sacred dip at Triveni Sangam during the Mahakumbh. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, along with cabinet ministers, will also participate in the holy Mahakumbh bath.
Praising the effort, Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari mentioned that Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma, along with his ministers and senior government officials, will visit Prayagraj on Saturday to take a sacred dip at Triveni Sangam.

Rajasthan minister Jawahar Singh Bedham also congratulated the Chief Minister for preserving cultural heritage. He added that the Rajasthan government will conduct a cabinet meeting at Mahakumbh to make significant decisions.
