Parliament begins budget session, PM Modi highlights independence from foreign influence

The Budget session of Parliament commenced today with President Droupadi Murmu delivering a speech to the joint assembly of both Houses. During her address, President Murmu emphasized that the government has prioritized youth education and the creation of new job opportunities for them.

Ahead of the 2025-26 Budget session, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that this is the first Parliament session since 2014 where he observed 'no foreign interference'. No external forces attempted to ignite it. I've observed this before every budget session, and many individuals in our country make every effort to fuel these sparks. This is the first session without any foreign meddling.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said "In the third term, we will steer the country towards development in a mission mode, encompassing geographical, social, and economic aspects. We are advancing in mission mode. Our economic development has prioritized innovation, inclusion, and investment. To achieve the desired pace of development, we focus heavily on reforms, with both central and state governments required to perform, and the transformation is evident through public participation."

Prime Minister Modi stated that during this session, Parliament will deliberate on numerous historic bills designed to fortify the nation.

In this session, as usual, many historic bills will be discussed in the House and after extensive brainstorming, those laws will be made which will strengthen the nation. In order to re-establish the pride of women power, especially to ensure that every woman gets a dignified life and equal rights without any discrimination of caste and creed, many important decisions will be taken in this direction in this direction.

Youth will take charge of policy making

Prime Minister Modi stated that the current young generation will greatly benefit from a developed India by the time they reach 50 years old. Our nation is youthful, and those who are currently 20-25 years old will be the primary beneficiaries of a developed India by the age of 50. They will be leading policy-making efforts, and striving to achieve our vision of a developed India will be a significant gift to our younger generation. On Saturday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid homage to Goddess Lakshmi, the deity of wealth and prosperity.
