Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, the head of Dera Sacha Sauda, was granted a 30-day parole today. According to his lawyer, Jitendra Khurana, this parole is a legal right of Ram Rahim. The 30-day parole was granted today in accordance with the law.

Each inmate possesses the legal entitlement to seek parole. On this occasion, Ram Rahim requested to visit his Dera Sacha Sauda ashram, and permission was granted to him.

On Saturday, former Union minister and Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Harsimrat Kaur Badal condemned the Haryana government's decision to grant a 30-day parole to Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh.

Jitendra Khurana, the lawyer for Ram Rahim, stated that the law permits up to 70 days of parole and 21 days of furlough annually. He emphasized that Ram Rahim's parole is entirely legal.

Ram Rahim Singh, who is serving a 20-year sentence in Sunaria jail in Rohtak, Haryana, for raping two followers, has been granted a 30-day parole today.
