Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Prem Chand Bairwa on Saturday slammed the Congress party, accusing it of spreading negative propaganda about the Constitution. The deputy chief minister alleged that the Congress has a history of making derogatory remarks against the Constitution and Babasaheb Ambedkar.
On the contrary, he lauded the Modi government for its efforts to uphold constitutional values. "The Congress has campaigned negatively about the Constitution. The Congress government has always been commenting on the Constitution, insulting Babasaheb Ambedkar. If anyone has worked towards respecting the Indian Constitution and Babasaheb Ambedkar, it is the Modi government. "
His remarks came after a two-day discussion in the Lok Sabha on "Glorious Journey of 75 Years of the Indian Constitution". Bairwa also highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision of developing India, which aims to make the country a developed nation by 2047. He said, "PM Modi's mission and vision is to make India a developed nation by 2047.
In states where BJP is in power, work is being done under the leadership of PM Modi to achieve this goal. The Rajasthan government is moving forward with this resolve. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his address in the Lok Sabha criticized the Congress for the Emergency.
During his address, he said whenever democracy is discussed, "this sin" of the Congress will be remembered. Launching a scathing attack on the Congress, he said, "One family in the Congress left no stone unturned to attack the Constitution. PM Modi reminded that when India was celebrating the completion of 25 years of the Constitution, "it was torn up" and Emergency was imposed.
