Devendra Fadnavis to be Sworn in as Maharashtra's Chief Minister

Devendra Fadnavis: The name of Devendra Fadnavis has been stamped for the post of Chief Minister of Maharashtra. Fadnavis was elected Chief Minister at the BJP Legislature Party meeting today.

Earlier, his name was also agreed upon in the core committee meeting. In the Mahayuti meeting, it has been agreed to make Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar Deputy CM. At 3.30 pm, Fadnavis, Shinde and Ajit Pawar will meet the Governor to stake claim to form the government.

The oath-taking ceremony will take place tomorrow (November 5) at Azad Maidan. The Chief Minister and both Deputy CMs will take oath. Along with them, dozens of MLAs will take oath as ministers.

Winter Session of Legislature to Begin from December 16

After the formation of the Mahayuti government, the winter session of the legislature will begin in Nagpur between December 16 and 21.

During this time, all the newly elected MLAs will be administered oath of office and secrecy.

Leaders from BJP can Join the Cabinet

Devendra Fadnavis, Chandrashekhar Bawankule, Chandrakant Patil, Pankaja Munde, Girish Mahajan, Ashish Shelar, Ravindra Chavan, Atul Bachao, Sudhir Mungantiwar, Nitesh Rane, Ganesh Naik, Mangal Prabhat Lodha, Rahul Narvekar, Atul Bhatkhalkar, Shivendraraj Bhosale, Gopichand Padalkar, Madhuri Misal, Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil, Jaykumar Rawal.

Mahayuti has Got a Huge Majority of 230

The results of the Maharashtra elections came on 23 November. Mahayuti i.e. BJP, Shiv Sena Shinde and NCP Pawar got 230 seats.

By the way, Devendra Fadnavis from BJP is almost certain to become CM. In Mahayuti, the formula of one CM, two deputy CMs has been decided.
