Meanwhile, Rasulabad Sangam Ghat will be renamed as Shaheed Chandrashekhar Azad Ghat. The name of the ghat has been changed after the mayor of the municipal corporation.
This change has been made on the instructions of the Chief Minister of the state, this proposal was passed unanimously during the meeting of the Municipal Corporation held in 1991. The mayor has instructed the officers to make the stone plaque soon.
The funeral of immortal martyr Chandrashekhar Azad was held at Rasulabad Ghat and this is his memorial, the mayor declared the ghat as Chandrashekhar Azad Ghat after it was passed in the House. CM Yogi reviewed the preparations for Mahakumbh and declared Chandrashekhar Azad Ghat.
