Shashi Tharoor Not in Good Terms With Congress Party

"You have fixed the time of the shadow

I want you to come and go like sunshine."

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, who led a crucial delegation of MPs, has tied the tone in favour of India abroad. He is on a tour of countries like the US, Panama, Guyana, Brazil and Colombia to put forward the BJP's stand on the issue of terrorism. But before leaving for his foreign trip, Tharoor hosted a 'Mango and Chaat Party' for some Malayalam journalists at his residence in New Delhi. He spoke openly to some of his journalists in this party and told what is his relationship with Rahul Gandhi. One of these journalists revealed that Tharoor does not have as much problem with Rahul as he has with Rahul's most close friend KC Venugopal. Tharoor believes that with the exception of four or five people, Rahul's behaviour is almost the same with all the leaders of his party, unapologetic, bold and to a certain extent uncaring. This journalist claims that Tharoor's real problem is with Venugopal, who behaves like the 'functional head' of the party, whom he considers to be the character of the Latin proverb 'persona non grata' (uninvited guest). Though there are a large number of Shashi's admirers in Kerala, when the assembly elections are held in Kerala next year, Tharoor knows that the Congress is going to keep his role very concise. Tharoor is an MP from Thiruvananthapuram in Kerala, but his party's own MLAs are reluctant to meet him. Shashi is now 69 years old, if the BJP gives him a Rajya Sabha seat and makes him a minister at the Centre, then by the time his Rajya Sabha term ends, he will be 75 years old. Perhaps then he will say goodbye to politics and settle abroad, because both his sons are settled in America, both of his sisters have also settled abroad. His mother is also old, now she is 94 years old. So, if the BJP makes him its CM face in Kerala, he will put all his efforts for the BJP in his home state. Tharoor knows how he had to work hard to win from Thiruvananthapuram this time, so if the BJP again fields Rajeev Chandrasekhar from here, then Tharoor can definitely make his way to victory.

Which ministry will Tharoor get?

Shashi Tharoor, drenched in fresh saffron colours, may be soaked in political debate on his intentions and attitudes, but the BJP high command is said to be gadded by his current performance. The delegation of MPs that Tharoor is leading has been able to present India's point of view on terrorism in many countries like the US, Panama, Guyana and even the media and civil society. Not only this, the upcoming election of Kerala is also making a blast in Tharoor's mind, perhaps this is the reason that he is also violating many Lakshman Rekha, like on May 3, Tharoor in a post of his 'X' targeted the Kerala government for giving 10 crore help to Turkia and linked the matter directly to Wayanad Priyanka Gandhi is the Lok Sabha MP from Wayanad. But during his attack, Tharoor probably forgot that the Modi government had also launched 'Operation Dost' to help Turkey. According to sources, earlier Tharoor had an offer from the HRD ministry, but perhaps the idea did not go down well with the union. The Sangh has always wanted to maintain its influence in the Ministry of Human Resources, usually such leaders are given the reins of this ministry who get special affection of the Sangh. Sources reveal that now two ministries are being considered to give Tharoor, one of which is the Ministry of External Affairs and the other is the Ministry of Commerce.

Why does Naidu want to ban Rs 500 notes?

Recently, a crucial three-day meeting of the Telugu Desam Party was held in Kadapa, Andhra Pradesh, in which more than 5 lakh party workers gathered. In this meeting, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has advised the Modi government to ban 500 rupees notes. "If the central government really wants to curb corruption completely, it should ban the high denomination currency (which is Rs 500 at present) and replace it with digital currency," Naidu said. Naidu raised his hands and pleaded for support from lakhs of party workers present there. Naidu claimed in front of his party workers that he had advised PM Modi on demonetisation in 2016. Because even at that time his party was an ally of the NDA. Naidu was then appointed to the committee set up by the Centre to prepare an action plan for a cashless economy. It is worth mentioning that this meeting convened in Kadapa was unprecedented in many ways, when the Telugu Desam Party was formed in 1982, for the first time a party convention was held in Kadapa after 43 years. Because Kadapa has been the strongest stronghold of the Congress, where Jagan's YSR Congress firmly established its foothold after 2019. Chandrababu has already set his sights on the 2029 elections, so he called upon his workers to win all the 10 seats here in the next election, at present the TDP has 7 seats.

Why did Supriya go abroad late?

Supriya Sule was one of the delegations of MPs who were going abroad to explain the rationale of 'Operation Sindoor' and the horrific face of terrorism to the world. When he was to leave for abroad with his delegation, he got an important message that he had to meet the PM along with his father Sharad Pawar. Due to this, Supriya's foreign trip was postponed for two days. According to sources, when Supriya came to meet the PM with her father, she was told that she should work for a 'larger unity' in the interest of the country, that is, now the time has come that uncle (Sharad) and nephew (Ajit) erase all their old grievances and reunite. In this regard, the PM had already spoken to Ajit Pawar, who had also given his consent to this proposal. But Ajit wants Supriya to focus on Delhi politics instead of Maharashtra. It is understood that the BJP has already offered to make Supriya a minister at the Centre. According to sources, she has been offered the post of Minister of Women and Child Development. "If the BJP is really so worried about her future, then she should consider becoming the CM of Maharashtra. ’

... And finally,

Pappu Yadav has emerged as the biggest question for the Congress in the Bihar elections, who is neither swallowing nor spewing from Rahul Gandhi. Actually, the entire Lalu family, including Tejashwi, is strongly against Pappu Yadav, so in such a situation, Rahul does not even want to take the risk of angering the Lalu family, while he and Priyanka want Pappu Yadav to be given something respectable in this election. It is believed that the Congress has offered Pappu from inside that he should field his candidates on the Congress symbol in three-four seats of Seemanchal. At the same time, Pappu has also made up his mind that if the matter does not work out, he will field his candidates in the entire Seemanchal, this can cause a huge setback to the RJD-Congress and BJP-JDU can be its beneficiary.
